Your Voice Sought: Impact of COVID-19 on family caregivers of people with dementia

Researchers at the University of Calgary are conducting a research study on family caregivers of people with dementia during the COVID-19 pandemic.

The goal of the study is to use an online survey to capture family caregiver experiences, changes in needs and the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on both the family caregiver and the person with dementia for whom they care. Information will be used to generate informed recommendations to health care providers and other relevant stakeholders on ways to improve and better support family caregivers of people with dementia.

If you are/have been a family caregiver of a person with dementia during the COVID-19 pandemic and would like your voice to be heard in the study, please find the website link to the survey below. The survey link will be posted until February 26, 2021 and is open to family caregivers who care(d) for a person with dementia residing across the care continuum (at home, assisted/supportive living, long-term care) or who has passed away during the COVID-19 pandemic.
