ACCA Launches Campaign "The Truth About Alberta Care"Dec 10, 2020
The Alberta Continuing Care Association is launching a public relations campaign on behalf of our members this week aiming to help inform Albertans about the impact of COVID-19 on continuing care and the larger, systemic issues facing our industry. The campaign will run through January 2021.
The campaign, The Truth About Alberta Care, takes direct aim at misrepresentations about continuing care by focusing on the facts. The recent weeks have added layers to an already trying year, as pandemic infection rates increase and protocols and restrictions tighten. Continuing Care providers, whether home care, supportive living or long term care, have opened their hearts and continued to provide the best possible care for the province's most vulnerable citizens. As we face the second wave in our province, it is more important than ever that we link arms and support each other.
