Our Members Are Our Greatest Strength! ACCA membership is comprised of three categories: Voting, Associate and Corporate. Each member category offers varying opportunities and benefits. Membership benefits include:

  • Government liaison
  • Political advocacy
  • Regular newsletters
  • Member profiles in newsletters
  • ACCA communications
  • Attendance at meetings
  • Networking opportunities
  • Discounted ACCA IQ Conference booth rates
  • Use of ACCA logo on your website

Voting Membership

 
Voting members must own or operate a continuing care facility or provide home care services in Alberta. Voting members have full membership privileges listed above, plus additional benefits, including:
  • Right to vote at meetings
  • Right to hold a Director or Officer of Association Position
  • Participation in Committees, Advisory Groups & Task Forces
 
Current ACCA Voting Members include (full list of members):
  • Long-term care facilities
  • Alberta Health Services contracted supportive/assisted living - SL3, SL4 & DAL
  • Home Care and support organizations


Voting Membership Cost

Long Term Care: $42.85 per space (Minimum $4,500 per year; Maximum $45,000 per year)
Supportive Living: $42.85 per space (Minimum $3,000 per year; Maximum $30,000 per year)
Home Care: Minimum $1,300 per year; Maximum $18,000 per year
Seniors Communities (non-supportive living or long term care): $8.00 per space (Minimum $3,000 per year; Maximum $30,000 per year)

Associate Membership

 
Associate Membership is limited to an organization, person or association which support the purposes of the Association. Associate Members do not have the right to vote or hold a Director or Officer position with the Association.
 
An Associate Member has membership privileges that include:
  • Invitation to ACCA meetings and government meetings
  • Access to information
  • 'Members Only' section on website (coming soon!)
  • ACCA Communications
 
Current Associate Members include (full list of members):
  • Colleges and Universities
  • Supportive/Assisted Living facilities - lodges, SL1, SL2 
  • Not for profit organizations and associations

Associate Membership Cost:
$800 per organization

Corporate Membership


Corporate membership is limited to for those organizations with an interest in the activities of the Association or its members. Corporate Members do not have the right to vote of hold a Director or Office position with the Association.
 
A Corporate Member has membership privileges that include:
  • Networking and advertising opportunities
  • ACCA Communications
  • 'Members Only' section on website (coming soon!)
  • Invitiation to Association meetings
